Dan Kennedy's inevitable article on Gannett reducing The Medford Transcript's strength in the city of Medford puts the exclamation point
on Media in Medford. There is none.
1)The government access TV channel is not public access.
2)The now defunct Medford Mercury, like the Transcript, could only go so far.
As Nell Coakley at the Transcript said to me "If you want to do business with Medford..."
She let it trail off, that you had to be obedient to the McGlynn Machine, or else.

About a decade ago I ran camera for a town council/ward meeting in Winchester.
Rather than have six people at Alden Chambers so Knight, Caraviello, Scarpelli and Our Revolution
can outside of the majority of the eyes in Medford, secretly sneaking in plums that they want.
WHAT I WITNESSED WAS A PACKED AUDITORIUM, PUBLIC PARTICIPATION, CITIZENS HAVING THEIR VOICES HEARD. IT WAS A GREAT THING, AND I TOLD THE CITY COUNCIL ABOUT IT. READ GEORGE'S LIPS AND THEN GO VISIT A WARD MEETING ON YOUR OWN. YOU WILL THROW SCARPELLI OFF OF THE COUNCIL SO FAST HIS HEAD WILL SPIN. GEORGE SCARPELLI OF OTIS MASS FAME IS A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR.

The Globe still has invisible ties to McGlynn.... No, we need a Medford-based
newspaper. Anything less allows Paul Ruseau, Rick Caraviello, Jenny Graham, Nicole Morell
to do their dirty deeds. Their Revolution? The devil himself couldn't have put a lesser group

there is no doubt that rock journalist Joe Viglione is one of the most
published writers in New England.
His videos and journalism have upended the notorious McGlynn Machine
in remarkable ways - removing McGlynn's uncle from the Medford Housing
Authority board of directors - which created the exit of corrupt E.D. Bob Covelle,
to his publishing of the L'Italien Report, the D.A. Marian Ryan Brady list and,
of course, giving the knockout punch to the highly suspect TV3 Medford.
Mr. Viglione has been censored at the Medford City Council by
President Nicole Morell, Vice President Isaac Bruce Bears II (read the
police report on Bears,) Justin Tseng, Kit Collins, Adam Knight (Viglione
broke the story on Knight's wanton destruction at the Mystic Ave Bank of
America, April Fool's Day 2021,) deeply corrupt Richard F. Caraviello,
and a rapist's best friend, chaperone George Scarpelli who was nowhere
to be found when a student athlete was attacked sexually with a broomstick
in Otis, Massachusetts.
One of our politicians asked if I like ANYONE! My response to her was
"I like you!" I just don't like an elected official being a coward like Adam Knight
who takes your money but fails to take an elocution class, or Scarpelli who
rather than hide the dangerous broomstick hid himself, Neil Osborne who professes
on Twitter that violence against white people is the answer to racism, or a top cop
showing up in Boston Magazine for getting paid while promoting the likes of the
master criminal, Donald J. Trump. Trump's having a very bad week, Harry, and
it's only going to get worse!
