privilege
If your son-in-law ran the MBTA like Jack McGlynn's son-in-law Jonathan R. Davis does, your son could (allegedly) park in a bus stop illegally right before an election! Of course that 102 million dollars missing and those 13 missing keys to the CASH BOXES at the MBTA, somehow alchemist Jonathan R. McGlynn-Davis presto-change-o turned into a "computer glitch."
These are all allegations on a "delusional" blog, mind you.
Wait a minute! If the City Solicitor calls this blog "delusional" - but you see an SUV in a bus stop, who are you going to believe? Mark Rumley or YOUR OWN EYES! With all that money Jackie McGlynn the lobbyist allegedly makes, they should just pay the friggin' ticket!
You won't see the new Mayor, D'Antonio, parking in a bus stop!
Other cities and towns have their debates on access TV. In Medford, citizens are being robbed to the tune of 1.7 million dollars (between 2010 and 2011) and possibly more today. What? So that Jack Dempsey can take a high school salary and be the mayor's personal videographer? This kind of cronyism and patronage, unwarranted privilege for people lacking in qualifications but rich in connections, deprives a city's residents of the opportunities they should expect; privileges you shouldn't have to beg or fight for.
To the logical mind someone possessing City Hall for over a decade seems more like a gruesome spirit rising up on Halloween night than a "leader." Yet the 26-year incumbent throws you bread, circuses and jelly beans and expects you to shut up and take the abuse.
Which brings us to a huge question haunting Michael J. McGlynn, Paul A. Camuso and Freddy Dello Russo, Jr. - the chilling facts that they try to paper over with rhetoric that is unbalanced and exists because McGlynn took away your voice, took your access TV monies, yet has a former TV3 board member running around yelling nonsense that you don't really need access. As a board member his requirement was to FACILITATE access, not take the resources for himself, bully you, and tell you you don't need it.
The huge question haunting Camuso, from Sheriff Koutoujian's office, Dello Russo and the Issuing Authority, McGlynn, is how they could align themselves so tightly with an alleged terrorist up on a felony charge who brought a convicted child rapist to TV3 on November 27, 2009. That is now haunting the MeGlynn Administration and don't think Mike McGlynn doesn't know it. McGlynn is absolutely terrified of the effect on his campaign that his "congratulating" the alleged terrorist while during a School Committee meeting (highly inappropriate, by the way, for the additional monies we pay McGlynn at the school committee,) to congratulate an individual called "sick" by the City Council with credible evidence by over a dozen residents that they were harassed and bullied by the individual now charged with a false bomb threat, Mike McGlynn's good friend that McGlynn is running from at ninety miles per hour.
CHARTER CHANGE
URGENT MATTER IF MEDFORD IS TO BREATHE
Cutting down trees that have taken decades to grow rather than paving our broken roads and repairing the damage the power company has caused digging up our streets is a failure to grasp the true priority list for this city. Charter change is something concerned citizens are engaged in; if a candidate is not part of that conversation it only shows how far out of the loop some of the challengers are. Recovering monies from non-profits not forthcoming with books - be it sports or public access TV, reducing the ridiculous pay the city council and mayor take home with little to show for it (note to the city council: change the charter, earn that huge sum of money) - those are the logical ideas that attract votes. Candidates need to have done their homework, preparation on issues, and how much of that have we seen from the challengers and Camuso and Dello Russo on those important attitudes?
Paul A. Camuso and Frederick N. Dello Russo, Jr. have both supported the incredibly vulgar (and now defunct) Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. How can any politician - and this includes Mike McGlynn - show their face in this city with the understanding that their pal, the webmaster of the former "TV3" - is up on a felony charge, an allegation of an act of terrorism. How can they not acknowledge their poor judgment?
Camuso, McGlynn and Dello Russo have supported the criminally-charged webmaster who has gone from address to address, as has been reported over the years, a vagabond of hate who used the television station as a tool to bully with. Paul Donato has done little penance for not standing up against tbe bullies, resulting in the anti-bullying politician being too afraid to stand up for a constituent's rights and believing the horse manure Frank Pilleri was feeding him. Mr. Donato admitted to a constituent that he was unaware that Pilleri, the self-appointed president of the disgraced station, put Donato on the air without asking the long-time State Rep permission. Think about it. Pilleri bullied State Rep Donato because Francis R. Pilleri, Jr. was angry that Donato went to Winchester and saw a better facility, a better run operation, and saw Donato on a first class, award-winning program (not some junky internet award that Mayor McGlynn congratulated an individual arrested on a charge of terrorism for.)
If Mr. Donato and Mr. McGlynn think they are leading by example they are sadly mistaken. McGlynn doesn't have the character, courage or integrity to tell the public how awful his actions were hiring the accused terrorist with the precious Project Open Voice situation we were granted. Not only that, what the citizens don't know is that there are allegations that TV3 terrorized Project Open Voice. Anyone notice how the site suddenly doesn't have Medford listed? Medford is now a "test site" because of - and this is based on solid information - horrible conduct by the now defunct TV station. This was before the "webmaster" put the alleged false bomb threat on MadeinMedford.com
Are you people getting this? The Comcast Project Open Voice situation, which is to satisfy the FCC after Comcast purchased NBC shoring up cities that lack access - the Project Open Voice that TV3 lied about and claimed came to Medford because they were so good - the Project Open Voice had problems with Frank Pilleri and TV3 from Day 1, Pilleri and his gang driving wedges through relationships, as they've done for two decades or more. This is something I will be discussing at the City Council on Tuesday night. What egg on the face of McGlynn, Tim Kelly at Comcast, PauL Camuso and Fred Dello Russo Jr. that the person they allowed in charge of uploads is now up on charges of a false bomb threat, utilizing the MadeinMedford site to bully a complex that allegedly had evicted the "webmaster."
Does anyone get the gravity of the situation? The bully was caught red-handed, yet McGlynn, Camuso, Dello Russo and Pilleri enabled the bad conduct, and far worse, THEY DEPENDED ON THE WRONGFUL CONDUCT TO SCARE AWAY CRITICS AT THE CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS AND ON PUBLIC ACCESS TELEVISION.
Michael J. McGlynn has used the public access funds just about his entire time as mayor. He is not using those funds properly and that is a proven fact thanks to the Freedom of Information Act and a public records request that I filed to get that information and send it to the proper authorities.
Mike McGlynn should hang his head in shame. River's Edge, Medford Community Cablevision, certain elements regarding Station Landing that you won't hear about from the mayor but which allegedly exist, and Paul Camuso working for the sheriff's office yet holding himself to the lowest of standards possible.
McGlynn, Dello Russo, Jr., Camuso, Pilleri, those four in particular hold you to impossibly high standards yet for themselves (Dello Russo yawning as he futzes in his chair hoping the council meeting ends, but grabbing your 28 thousand plus dollars, probably to go on his legendary annual Vegas trips with), for themselves they have the lowest standards possible.
Look around, Medford. Look at your sidewalks, look at the trash on the steps of City Hall (it was DISGRACEFUL on both Candidates Nights, both sides of the walkway up to City Hall looking like a third world country) - for all the money you pay Medford, McGlynn is spitting in your face.
Think about that on November 5, and don't listen to McGlynn's rhetoric, or Camuso's. They talk a big game, but they have nothing substantial to show you for all their hot air.
