New Access Station on the horizon

137,382

Chris,

I agree.

37,515 registered voters with 26.2% turnout (9,298 ballots cast)

Having given the number of registered voters to anyone watching the government channel on a Tuesday night (or on reruns) and imploring people to come out and vote, we are left with less than a third of registered voters making these decisions.

That we pay for public access TV and the incumbent mayor kept it from us during an election cycle (I offered to put access on and you see how city hall reacted ...anathema to a 26 year incumbent who doesn't want the voters to hear any dissenting opinions), can we say that the long-time mayor was honest with his citizens?

We pay MILLIONS for a product that could help get the vote out and it was denied us, despite shutting down the previous entity with 36 days to go to November 5.  That was totally unfair of McGlynn - unfair to the new candidates, unfair to the citizens, unfair to the cable TV subscribers.

The new access station will be opening soon, a reliable source says.
Will we continue to be censored?

Wow, pretty disappointing, stuck with the usual suspects. What an awful job the voters in Medford have done. More and more and more and more of absolutely nothing. Great.
