McGlynn is the question with no answers...ever!
____________________________

A month and 16 days ago Mayor Michael J. McGlynn, the "Issuing Authority" with the worst record of public access television in the Commonwealth, after looking for a Cable Advisory Commission and including a deceased person on that commission for approximately five years, is now alleging that he wants a new "3 person" panel, though he could have reactivated the Cable T V Commission which had two living, breathing individuals on it - Fraud Investigator for the Commonwealth and School Committee person Bob Skerry as well as accountant Richard Giovino.
An Accountant and a Fraud Investigator sound like a good couple of people to have on such a committee given the fact that City Hall has failed to deliver all the documents it, on one hand, claims are in its possession, and on the other hand, plays Mickey the Dunce in regards to a legal request for these materials.
Let's see how the evasive "Mayor" of 26 years tries to do his sleight of hand with this new Public Records Request
Keeper of the Records
c/o Issuing Authority Mike McGlynn
Medford City Hall

Medford, MA 02155
RE: Public Records Request, 3 person TV panel Dear Issuing Authority and/or Keeper of the Records: This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:
1)Applications from citizens for the Mayor's 3 person TV3 panel submitted to City Hall for consideration to be on what Michael J. McGlynn called a "three person committee" in the local press, on or about October 2, 2013

EXHIBIT A

“The second concern relates to the future of community public access television in the City of Medford. The mayor announced [Thursday] that in the coming days he will appoint a three person committee to develop the guiding principles for the future of public access television in the City of Medford.”

2)E mail correspondence between the Mayor and other city officials or proposed appointees to this panel referenced above in Exhibit A

3)Any list the Issuing Authority/Mayor may have of his appointees to this 3 person panel referenced above in Exhibit A
I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request. If you expect costs to exceed $10.00, please provide a detailed fee estimate.
The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 calendar days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing. Optimally, if available, the Issuing Authority, Michael J. McGlynn will read these documents into the record at the Medford City Council on November 19, 2013 as a councilor has a resolution to request Ann Baker appear and discuss the distribution of P/E/G monies.
Sincerely,
