THE FOLLOWING IS A VICTIM IMPACT STATEMENT AFTER READING THE LIBEL PRINTED AND PUBLISHED BY DERIC DYER ABOUT A VICTIM OF A GAY BASHING AT TV3 MEDFORD.
THE INFORMATION WAS RECEIVED VIA PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST 1-8-14
Deric Dyer was a coward to stab a homosexual man in the back with a libelous letter to the suspicious "president' of a non-profit in the city of Medford, where Dyer resides.
Rather than walk away with dignity, Dyer left the embattled station as charges of racism and hate speech hovered over the vulgar non-profit; Dyer, engaging in the fun, lied about a man behind his back, too dishonest to say it to the man's face. It took a PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST to see the backstabbing by alleged musician/saxophonist Deric Dyer, belittling a human being behind the guy's back.
One of Dyer's associates, the station's webmaster, was indicted by a Grand Jury on or or about 11/21/13. So Dyer quit serving on the fraud board that refused to facilitate access to the community; the board a retired judge said was "Mcc Access" - a private access station - in conflict with its agreement with the city (the judge being pretty firm about how unqualified the board was), and Deric Dyer stabbed a victim of a gay bashing in the back...all while an indictment was around the corner for "serious public alarm" and charges of racism and hate speech were being evaluated.
Deric Dyer thinks he's a nice guy. His association with that board of directors; the fact that the long-time webmaster/spokesperson for the station was indicted by a grand jury, the fact that 501c3 rules prohibiting the bashing of politicians were ignored by Dyer's board while he was on it, speaks volumes about the real Deric Dyer.
RACISM ALLEGATION WAS SENT FROM MAYOR TO THE MEDFORD POLICE ON JULY 10th; DERIC DYER, BOARD MEMBER OF MEDFORD COMMUNITY CABLEVISION, INC. KNEW OF THIS AS THE ORIGINAL COMPLAINT WAS FILED YEARS BEFORE AND ONLY GOT TRACTION AFTER A COURAGEOUS VICTIM, GAY BASHED AT TV3, KEPT THE TV3 ISSUE ALIVE AT THE CITY COUNCIL.
When the victim of the hate speech appeared at the council, the initial complaint to the Mayor was revealed to the public. Was Dyer on the board of directors all that time? What did Dyer know, when did he know it, and what was his reaction? His reaction was to tell the fraud board what a swell time he had while they were bashing the elderly, an autistic man, gay people, an African American woman and more. City Hall called the board Deric served on "Equal Opportunity Slappers" and Dyer asked the citizens of Medford to "come on down" - give 'em a try...KNOWING FULL WELL THE ABUSIVE NATURE OF THE STATION THAT HOSTED THE MOST VICIOUS SHOW IN THE HISTORY OF THE COMMONWEALTH, WHOSE HOST - DYER'S COLLEAGUE, WAS RECENTLY INDICTED BY A GRAND JURY FOR ALLEGEDLY CAUSING SERIOUS PUBLIC ALARM.
DYER'S RESPONSE? GOLLY GEE, TV3, IT WAS SUCH A SWELL TIME BEATING UP ON CITIZENS WITH THEIR OWN MONEY
SHAMEFUL! DISGRACEFUL! TERRIBLE
DYER BLAMED THE VICTIM OF THE GAY BASHING INSTEAD OF THE FACT THAT THE POLICE WERE INVESTIGATING THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS THAT DYER WAS PART OF.

Saxophonist Deric Dyer was part of an embattled board of directors of Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., a station that libeled the community, harassed the community, and was dishonest about meeting minutes and finances.
AT no time did Mr. Dyer ever address to the City Council or in the press, that we have read, the judge's scathing report on the board he joined, the audit that the board failed to comply with - both items costing the city 15,000.00 or so; Mr. Dyer never addressed the violations of the anti-SLAPP statute committed by the board of directors he was part of, nor did Deric Dyer address the frivolous lawsuits against the City and the Dawn Natalia suit against a victim of Natalia's and TV3.
ALONG WITH THE VICIOUS E MAIL FROM DERIC DYER NOW AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC, MR. DYER SAT ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WHILE THE STATION CABLECAST FOR ABOUT 24-36 HOURS A RUNNING BLURB THAT SAID A MAN WAS CONVICTED OF LIBEL.

DERIC DYER WAS PART OF THE PROBLEM.
He didn't resign until July 1, 2013. So Dyer sat on a board of a corporation where a Medford member accused someone of a physical threat or threats.
DYER was ON THE BOARD at the time the e mail noting NUMEROUS victims of TV3 was sent to City Hall. Dyer then blames one of the victims listed in that e mail as his reason for leaving the station. VICTIM BASHING by Saxophonist Deric Dyer who ENDORSES the embattled board of directors accused of racism, violations of Internal Revenue Code, found by a judge to have violated the anti-SLAPP statutes, found by Judge LaMothe to have prematurely appealed their anti-SLAPP violations, breaking a lease at 5 High Street, moving the studio to a new facility, on Riverside Ave, that had no connectivity to Comcast and Verizon - that fact alone seeming to be (allegedly) a violation of the contract signed by the self-appointed TV3 president with the city of Medford, and Deric Dyer sends ribbons and kisses to those reprehensible people that he associated with.

While Deric Dyer sat on the vulgar board of directors of MCC, chock full of reprobates, TV3 published hideous libelous comments about me that I had to request the Police have removed.

But it gets worse, people. A special needs person was portrayed as a kangaroo having intercourse with another kangaroo. The police had to remove the disgusting display, but we have it in a file.
That same special needs person was a MEMBER of TV3 and was pushed out the door allegedly so that Deric Dyer could do a TV show.
The allegation is that a sports show was supposed to air, but because of Deric Dyer's bragging about working with rock stars as a sideman, the station bent over backwards - not for ordinary citizens - but for someone whose resume' they were desperate to attach themselves to.
Did Mr. Dyer tell the station NOT to boot the sports show? Or did he take the airtime he was NOT entitle to at the expense of a disabled person.

A witness also told police Zappelli used to live at Station Landing before butting heads with the management over a no smoking policy. She also reported Zappelli posted negative comments about the management online once they started the process of evicting him.
Zappelli, 49, was subsequently arrested on Sept. 4 at his home at 21 Overlook Ridge Terrace in Revere on warrant charges of making a false bomb threat. Zappelli faces a potential 20 years in prison for the felony charges.

Among the acts that most significantly diminish the rights of each one of us to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are discrimination and hateful words or conduct. I join with the council in a unified denouncement of any such behavior.
Accordingly I have requested of Police Chief [Leo] Sacco that the Medford Police Department commence a full investigation into this matter immediately. The investigation began this afternoon.
