TV3 has been off the air since the end of March when the station moved from its 5 High St. location after an inspection confirmed high levels of mold and air quality problems. The station then moved to 32 Riverside Ave. in an area of Medford Square not wired for Verizon or Comcast cable access.
“We built 5 High St. thinking we wouldn’t have to do another build-out at another location,” said Pilleri. “Now we have to build a new physical plant.”

When the city heard last night that management at 5 High Street has sent a letter telling MCC TV3 NOT to contact that place of business it must have sent a chill through the citizenry. Now we need to know what really happened at 40 Canal Street, what really happened at 5 High Street, and if a board of directors called by one of their own former members are cited as "the most incompetent" how does it benefit Medford? If the TV3 president can't get along with City Councilors (Council President Maiocco had stated to Pilleri at a Council meeting "It's time for a new president of TV3; things will be a lot better down there"), landlords, ex-board members, members, and sometimes the Mayor (see comments in other publications from Pilleri about the Mayor) then maybe 57,000 people are wrong and Frank Pilleri is right. And if so, Mr. Pilleri has some swampland to sell you outside of River's Edge.

Medford to withhold $39,000 payment from TV3, council votes to rescind contract
After nearly three months of no broadcasting on TV3 and a unanimous Medford City Council vote requesting the city rescind its contract with the station, Mayor Michael J. McGlynn has decided to withhold the local access station’s quarterly $39,000 payment from the city.
This is really ugly stuff, people!
TV Board of Directors Vice President Ron Delucia said he thinks the city is trying to “blackmail” the station by withholding money unless TV3 changes the way it chooses board members.
“We’re told we have to change the makeup of the board, or we’re not going to get our money,” said DeLucia.- See more at: http://www.wickedlocal.com/x1580220392/Medford-to-withhold-39-000-payment-from-TV3-council-votes-to-rescind-contract/?tag=2#sthash.dRXOS83a.dpuf
