RE: Alleged felony assault of a person over 60
by the City Clerk in the Michael J. McGlynn Administration
Dear City Solicitor and Council President Dello Russo:
A
public servant cannot commit an alleged felony assault (screaming
within an inch of a senior citizen's face, bumping that person with his
chest) because a citizen of Medford asks a simple question about the
cameras not being focused on city councilors who are speaking.
City
Clerk Edward P. Finn MUST be suspended until an investigation, and
possible court case (which I am VERY serious about filing) takes place.
Mr.
Finn's explosive outburst in my face is unacceptable. IF a public
figure cannot listen to the concerns about a camera, or the council
president or the city clerk's failure to ensure that cameras are on all
speakers, and the response is to allegedly commit assault and battery (I
use "alleged" only because a court of law has not heard the case yet.
My testimony is that Ed Finn touched my person in an inappropriate and
violent manner, and was yelling in my face.)
For Mr. Finn to
behave that way was appalling and is a threat to any individual who
wants to speak at the city council without fear of reprisals. Mr. Finn
appears to censor petitions citizens write. He doesn't allow petitions
to be published the way they are written. He's a clerk, not an editor.
Does he tell people applying for a marriage license how to spell their
names? Does the temperamental city clerk tell police officers who take
an oath in front of him that they need his editing first?
It is DOUBLE STANDARDS in this city.
IF
the situation were reversed and a small guy like me yelled up into the
face of a larger, heavier (a term used to show the uneven playing field
the bully used, not meant to demean) person, as Mr. Finn did, there
would have been repercussions.
Paul Camuso has attempted to phone
the police on a city councilor and on this resident for asking simple
questions, perhaps like about Camuso's pay raise. Camuso, as council
president, would slam the gavel and threaten to phone the police.
Imagine if I yelled in Camuso's face as Ed Finn did to a victim that the Mayor, his boss, dislikes?
Or
imagine if Ed Finn did that to a woman? He may have spent the night in
jail. He should have spent the night in jail, in this victim's
opinion.
Mr. Finn should NOT be in his office or at City Council
when this victim of his wrongful conduct is in attendance. He needs to
be suspended, the way a police officer is suspended for not using good
judgment. I demand the suspension of City Clerk Edward P. Finn for
assault and battery on my person on June 17, 2015.

the second item at the following council meeting.

Could
you kindly put it on the agenda as I am NOT going to go into the
clerk's office today. Mr. Finn used his bullying tactics as a way of
keeping me out of his office. XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXX (redacted)
Not only that, I filed for two
businesses, paid for them last week (Sixty Dollars) while politicians
give monies to another local magazine that ISN'T a Medford business (or
wasn't as of last week) yet the publisher is paid from our P/E/G monies
and works at the high school, yet the double-standards of Medford don't
apply to her.
Mark Rumley said about TV3 that they behaved
like "Havana." Mark Rumley also told me he got attorney Skerry to tell
his client, Frank Pilleri, that what they did was "Un-American." Mark
Rumley also said he would find the city limiting free speech
"repugnant."
Solicitor Rumley, if you were telling the truth to
Judge Jackson-Thompson and the citizens of Medford who pay you
handsomely, in the quote noted below, you will suspend Ed Finn or demand
the Mayor do it, and you will comply with this request, AND you will
give the citizens an updated on Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., as
you appear to have promised us with the language noted below:
City
Solicitor Mark E. Rumley / Medford Daily Mercuryon or about Nov. 16,
2008 (quoted from the 2nd Judge Jackson-Thompson hearing) saying:
“The
one sentiment that I have heard that I take great exception to is that
the city is trying to limit speech,” said Rumley. “The notion the city
would censor or squelch free speech is baseless and as city solicitor I
would find any such effort repugnant.”
Go back into the city clerk files and see my complaint on Ed Finn allegedly trying to censor me from filing petitions.
Enough
is enough. Paul Camuso harasses me behind city hall; Adam Knight's
buffoonery is uncivil and not expected of a public servant, Bob Maiocco
threatening to hit me with a pipe, and now Ed Finn's outburst and
assault.
This will NOT happen in the community where I live, so
help me God. If I have to bring this into a court of law to get relief
and protection, so be it.
Sincerely,
The Editor
