RE: Abuse by 3 City Councilors to harass candidate for Mayor

Dear City Council Vice President and District Attorney Ryan:

I believe three members of the city council, including Council President Dello Russo, violated MGL 265, Section 37

Pursuant to MGL 265, Section 37 - Violations of constitutional rights; punishment,

Section 37. No person, whether or not acting under color of law, shall by force or threat of force, willfully injure, intimidate or interfere with, or attempt to injure, intimidate or interfere with, or oppress or threaten any other person in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the constitution or laws of the commonwealth or by the constitution or laws of the United States.

Because Dello Russo, Camuso and Knight have clearly conspired to interrupt speeches (they don't even hide the fact that they are working in concert to oppress and interfere with free speech, in violation of MGL 265, Sec. 37) there needs to be a no-confidence vote held on their wrongful conduct, and they need to be permanently removed from the city council FOR THEIR COLLECTIVE VIOLATIONS OF THE LAW allowing for Mark Crowley, Neil Osborne and Robert Fitzpatrick to replace them, as decided by the voters in November of 2013:

1ST AMENDMENT

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law ...abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights.

FACTS IN THE REQUEST TO REMOVE 3 COUNCILORS WHO HAVE VIOLATED THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE U.S. CONSTITUTION AS WELL AS MGL 265 SEC 37

---Paul A. Camuso besmirched Council Candidate Mark Crowley by falsely stating "it's the same people who come up here."   Mr. Crowley is rarely at the council, and that was one of many lies by Mr. Camuso on June 23, 2015. One of many.

---Camuso backtracked and noted it is "the people's forum" after he bashed the Medford residents courageous enough to go to the Council and put up with the abuse - the reason why there are few other speakers: because Camuso and his gang of Adam Knight and Fred Dello Russo, Jr.

INTIMIDATE, INTERFERE WITH AND OPPRESS FREE SPEECH, NO MATTER what malarkey City Solicitor Rumley spews to a retired judge:

Mark Rumley: "

“The one sentiment that I have heard that I take great exception to is that the city is trying to limit speech,” said Rumley. “The notion the city would censor or squelch free speech is baseless and as city solicitor I would find any such effort repugnant.”

Please watch the DVD of the June 23, 2015 meeting of the Medford City Council.   At one point toward the end of the meeting, Council President Frederick N. Dello Russo, Jr. gave a look to Paul Camuso and it was obvious that the two councilors were engaged in a concerted effort to harass the senior member of the council, who is a candidate for Mayor.

Paul Camuso's history of unethical and immoral conduct is legend in Medford, and someone has to hold these three reprobates accountable for failing to do the people's business, while they sit on one of the most expensive councils in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Similarly, Adam Knight was playing with his drawer, making noise while I was speaking last night at the Council.  The District Attorney is CC'd above as I wrote to Marian Ryan yesterday regarding the fact that Medford residents have suffered by the unprofessional, obnoxious, adolescent abuse of the council by three individuals who voted for their own pay raise.

Let's look at Paul Camuso's behavior towards the latter part of the council meeting -

Camuso started saying the word "FACTS" - yet he didn't back his alleged "facts" with any proof, just the word of an individual whose alleged CORI is sealed from the public (it was requested from the Sheriff's office and they refused to hand it over, which citizens can reason might be a sign of a troublesome report.)

Mr. Camuso made up a bald-faced lie.  He claimed, falsely, that he didn't know the individual who put in a proposal for the access TV station.

Didn't Camuso acknowledge at a previous city council meeting that he knew there was one proposal and it was from this writer?  Also, it was in the Medford Transcript, so, again, Camuso doesn't have his "facts" down.

Camuso stated that there was "no corporation or business" yet Community Media Medford IS a business registered with the City of Medford.

So, Camuso, saying "FACT" and claiming CMM was not a business, when it is, is not a fact.

Camuso can't say "I didn't know" or "I misspoke" because he defamed an entity saying FACTUALLY that the business doesn't exist, when it does.

Camuso is a liar, one of the worst. He is a pathological liar who worked in concert with Gary Zappelli of TV3 while Zappelli defamed you, Council Vice President, along with the senior member of the council, Rick Caraviello and Stephanie Muccini Burke, some - if not all - of those attacks violating the Internal Revenue Code

as Zappelli was a board member as well as an independent contractor for MCC TV3.

Camuso defended the twice-arrested Zappelli's TV station, taking care of the pal that promoted Camuso while defaming four members of the City Council.

These are highly egregious, unethical, and ugly acts by an elected official who needs to be scrutinized and held to the highest of standards.

Camuso said he didn't want an access station at the high school a year or so ago, correct?  He didn't want his friend Gary Zappelli's friend, the convicted child rapist, to be denied entry to the high school.

Now Camuso wants to CORI check Zappelli's friend and deny him his free speech rights.

Well, which one is it?  Camuso's flip flops make Mitt Romney blush with envy, but this isn't a joking matter, that is said to make a point.

Council Vice President, you have three individuals, including the council president, who are unprofessional, boorish, and who offend every hard-working, decent Medford resident.

They are not trustworthy, they don't have the best interests of Medford at heart and there must be some remedy to remove them from our council.

They violated the law noted above; they are biased towards lame-duck Mayor McGlynn, and our city cannot move forward while Camuso, Dello Russo and Knight work against the citizens of this municipality.

Take a look at the applause on the DVD from last night when Camuso, Dello Russo and Knight were thwarted in their attempt to ram a budget through without letting you, council vice president, have an opportunity to read it.

Just because McGlynn, Stephanie Muccini-Burke, Mark Rumley and other individuals in Medford are enabling their wrongful conduct doesn't mean they should get away with it.  Indeed, it is specifically because they are - clearly - operating on behalf of McGlynn to continue the underhanded activities which are McGlynn's trademark that they must be stopped by any and all legal remedies available to us.

As you are a lawyer, you should carefully consider this request, and work with the citizens to remove the bad element - Knight, Camuso and Dello Russo, from the City Council of Medford.

Permanently.

Last week the City Clerk assaulted this writer in yet another attempt to oppress the First Amendment, in violation of MGL 265 Sec. 37. It's no coincidence.  As stated, this is a concerted effort by the Mayor's cronies and it should NOT be allowed in our free society.

ANYONE who ignores this thoughtful letter documenting the abuses of those three individuals, not the least of which was shutting off the microphone on Robert Cappucci, is part of the problem.  It is time for a solution to the vulgar and unethical obscenities forced on the city by Adam Knight, Paul Camuso and Frederick N. Dello Russo, Jr.

As Mr. Dello Russo is on the board of directors of Still Harbor which claims "spirituality and social justice" and, as he is a public figure, I am cc:ing that organization for an opinion on the conduct of Frederick N. Dello Russo, Jr. during a critical election where State Rep Paul Donato has stated that political speech is "THE MOST PROTECTED RIGHT."  Let's have a little protection from those wolves, Dello Russo, Camuso and Knight, who are chewing away at the freedom to speak that Mark Rumley, the Deacon of the Immaculate Conception Church, falsely states is not being squelched by the McGlynn Administration.
