Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request

Dear City Solicitor and/or Budget Director or
Keeper of the Records:
This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:

1)the complete stenographer's transcript of the May 7 Comcast ascertainment hearing without charge.

Public records and are the property of the citizens of Medford.

I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request, however, since we residents have paid millions of dollars in franchise fees for years, with no accounting of where those monies go to in the "general fund" and elsewhere; with the City Solicitor failing to give us the TV3 financials in the time promised us last July, 2014, there should be NO CHARGE for these documents.

The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 calendar days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.

Sincerely,

Medford Info Central
