Della Street "Perry, I know you're busy but there's a young couple in the outer office and they'd like to see you. They say it's very urgent."

Perry Mason "I am quite busy."

Della Street "She's quite pretty"

Perry Mason "I don't suppose you noticed what the young man looked like?"

Della "Would you like to see for yourself?"

What did Raymond Burr's lover Robert Benevides think of that???

Come to think of it?  Benevides probably WROTE IT!!!

The painter, David Lambert, sold a painting to Perry before...according to the story

The picture is of Raymond Burr, Barbara Hale and Robert Benevides.

Della Street was on some award show and said "He's Not Gay" (meaning Raymond Burr)

Mark Rumley sees the evidence and says "There are no facts supporting the fact that we all know Ed Finn and Matt Page Lieberman hit you!"

The conclusion, your Honor?  Barbara Hale is a better actress than Mark Rumley!   You almost believe her fib about Burr's private life.  Who are you going to believe, Barbara Hale or your own eyes (see photo.)

Who are you going to believe?  Darth Rumley or the facts?

Perry Knight takes the case...and walks off into the sunset last night with his young reprobate...probably older than Knight!
