Dear President Monaco:

A Tufts "professor sent a song called "You're An Asshole" to me today after I refused to give  Dr. Paul D. Lehrman videos for his proposed smear campaign on candidate Robert M. Penta.

Full disclosure: I worked as an independent contractor in the early 1980s with Paul Lehrman on a Boston Phoenix magazine project.  He was glowing about my hard work and honest efforts, and the Phoenix paid me for my work,

This vulgar attack in a personal e mail is uncalled for, especially when Mr. Lehrman used his Tufts University signature wanting to throw rocks at a classy candidate who ran a clean campaign.

Do you want this kind of abusive hate mail sent out by people who represent Tufts?  Do you think retaliation is a good reflection of how Tufts University presents itself to the world?

Here are the vicious words in the link "Dr. Lehrman" sent to me, all because I would not participate in his ugly smear tactics aimed at a candidate that Mr. Lehrman libeled in an e mail to me; a candidate Lehrman was out to destroy.

This is a supporter of Stephanie Muccini-Burke; this is the kind of individual who used hate behind the scenes.  This is an individual who bragged about his position at Tufts University while trying to recruit me for his hate videos. Harassing me via my private mailbox for my TV show.
