Prologue:

The resignation of LaDonna J. Hatton as undersecretary of forensic sciences comes amid four investigations into the alleged mishandling of DNA test results in about two dozen unsolved sexual assault cases at the crime lab and another inquiry into the disappearance of a body from the medical examiner's office.

LaDonna J. Hatton replaced Mike McGlynn's first cousin, Johnny Granara, (who was Special Counsel for the crooked Sheriff Jimmy DiPaola) when Peter Koutoujian took over.  She is "Chief Legal Counsel."

DiPaola campaigned that he wouldn't accept patronage, yet - allegedly - he was "selling stripes" (as in, you can be a lieutenant or get another hack job, not on merit, but on payment,) for - and this is from multiple sources that are all highly credible - $5,000.00, $10,000.00, $15,000.00.

Reportedly.

How does someone with a criminal record get hired in the Sheriff's office?

Allegedly, a certain individual who has attacked this editor got hired because he paid for the job, or his well-respected daddy allegedly did.  To get him off the streets.

We're looking into that allegation as well.

His pal Fred Dello Russo, Jr. doesn't want you to know about the Transition Team, but we do!

Notice the date: I received this response 9 days after being assaulted by the City Clerk. Ya think the Clerk, Edward P. Finn was whacking me with a huge chest bump from a former football player on a guitar player because of the public records request?

Ladonna Hatton loses bodies as quickly as she loses information on documents!!!  If they kill me off, don't expect to find anything, including the evidence.  Call Jimmy Hoffa, by spiritual medium!

Burke on Tuesday announced that LaDonna Hatton, undersecretary of forensic sciences overseeing the crime lab and the medical examiner's office, has resigned to become general counsel for the State Police. He said Hatton was "a step ahead" of the problems and isn't to blame for them.
Burke said Dr. Mark Flomenbaum, the state's chief medical examiner, remains on a paid leave of absence, but wouldn't comment on Flomenbaum's future. On May 3, Gov. Deval Patrick placed Flomenbaum on leave after the medical examiner's office reported it lost a man's body. Later, it was discovered that the man's body was mistakenly released to a funeral home and buried under the name of another person.
In March, Burke ordered the state medical examiner's office to clear a backlog of bodies being stored at the office. That was in response to revelations that an overwhelming amount of bodies and lack of adequate storage space at the medical examiner's office forced workers to stack corpses and place some in a refrigerated truck meant to be used on a temporary basis.
