Huge story to break on mskfeasance in Medford

Why did they hide the alleged "suicide note" from Sheriff James V. DiPaola, a "public servant" with a cloud of suspicion around him...

The people deserve to know.  The only reason they didn't release the information is because it allegedly held all sorts of payback against the previous Administration.

WHY IS DISTRICT ATTORNEY MARIAN RYAN NOT BRINGING THE
NAME MIGUEL LOPEZ INTO THE CONVERSATION IN THE SENTENCING
OF THE MURDERER(S) ????
_______________________________________________________________

Anyone notice how the office of the District Attorney
fails to note the involvement of (former?) Medford Police Officer Miguel Lopez? and if this involved his home in Stoneham?

LET'S TRY TO PIECE THE FACTS TOGETHER

1)(FORMER?) Medford Police Officer Miguel
Lopez  lives or lived on Micah Way, Stoneham.

2)His roommate - a 28 year old unidentified man,
was shot, along with the late 27-year-old Joseph Puopolo

The 28-year-old man, who has been released from the hospital, lives at the home at 6 Micah’s Pond Way in Stoneham with Lopez, according to authorities.

3)Puopolo had been invited to the Micah’s Pond Way home where a drug deal had been scheduled by the second victim (purportedly, Officer Lopez unidentified roommate)

4)Why is the roommate not named?  Is Lopez free
or still on the Medford Police Force?

By August 15, 2013 3:35 pm ET

A Medford police officer allegedly lied to authorities and removed evidence from the Stoneham home where a double shooting occurred on July 3 in order to cover up the drug deal that led to the shooting.

The shooting left one man, 27-year-old Joseph Puopolo, dead and another 28-year-old man injured. The 28-year-old man, who has been released from the hospital, lives at the home at 6 Micah’s Pond Way in Stoneham with Lopez, according to authorities.

FROM THE D.A.'S OFFICE / PRESS RELEASE

Puopolo had been invited to the Micah’s Pond Way home where a drug deal had been scheduled by the second victim. When Williams and his associate Eugene Tate arrived, they drew hand guns and demanded drugs and money before shooting the victims.
Eugene Tate, 21, of Malden, was convicted of first-degree murder on Monday, Nov. 23, 2015. The jury also found Tate guilty of armed robbery, armed assault in a dwelling and illegal possession of a firearm.

Tate was sentenced on Nov. 30, 2015 to life without the possibility of parole.
This case was investigated by the Stoneham Police Department and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.

EVEN THE BOSTON HERALD
DOES NOT HAVE THE NAME
OF LOPEZ'S ROOMMATE

Middlesex Superior Court Assistant Clerk Magistrate Matthew Day released the defendant on personal recognizance, according to a statement from the Middlesex District Attorney's office.

what is truly bizarre is that the DA's office states that the second victim, who survived, set up the alleged drug deal

Why was he not charged and what is his
name?  He appears to be the roommate
of the cop, Miguel Lopez.

The second victim, described only as a 28-year-old man, suffered a broken rib when he was shot in the abdomen.
“We allege that these two defendants murdered Joseph Puopolo and wounded a second victim during an attempted robbery,” Ryan said in a post-arraignment statement last month. “This was a senseless crime and our thoughts and prayers remain with the victim’s family during this difficult time.”

 Judge Timothy Gailey,
who oversaw the TV3 trials in Cambridge
Court, handled one of the case.

An arraignment in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn has not yet been scheduled.
Williams and Tate were arrested last month and subsequently charged with murder, armed assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm. Each pleaded not guilty at their arraignment in Woburn District Court a week after the murder took place, and Judge Timothy Gailey ordered both suspects held without bail.

As part of that investigation, State Police interviewed Lopez, who lives at 6 Micah’s Pond Way along with the 28-year-old victim.  It is alleged that during the course of the interview Lopez lied to police and that in an attempt to cover up a reported drug deal that allegedly led to the double shooting, Lopez removed evidence from the home.

The charges are allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The prosecutors assigned to the case are Assistant District Attorneys Tom OReilly and David Rubin.

WHY HAVE, ALLEGEDLY, CHIEF SACCO AND FORMER MAYOR MCGLYNN ALLEGEDLY KEPT THE NAME OF THE ROOMMATE OF MIGUEL LOPEZ OUT OF THE NEWS?

BOSTON.COM  MEDFORD

Lopez met with Medford Police Chief Leo Sacco within hours of the city learning of the indictment on Thursday afternoon. Sacco notified Lopez he was being put on unpaid leave, a move that was finalized later Thursday evening, McGlynn said.
Jessie Williams, 24, of Medford and Eugene Tate, 19, of Malden were arrested July 7 in connection to Puopolo's death. They were also indicted Thursday on charges of murder, armed assault with intent to murder, armed assault in a dwelling, assault with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery, and illegal possession of a firearm.

Williams and Tate had allegedly arranged to buy drugs from a 28-year-old man who lived at the Stoneham home with Lopez. But when Williams and Tate entered the home, they drew handguns on Puopolo and the other man, demanded drugs and money, then shot both of them, prosecutors said.

The second victim was shot in the abdomen and was later released from the hospital. Prosecutors have refused to release his name.
(WAS HE EVER PROSECUTED?)

Lopez will remain on unpaid leave until the criminal proceedings against him conclude, McGlynn said.

Puopolo was visiting a friend at the house in Stoneham when both were shot, according to Alessandro.

There’s no word yet on the condition of the friend who, according to Medford police, is the stepson of a Medford police officer.

Three people were arrested overnight, two in Stoneham and one in Medford, in connection with the shootings.
