OK, read the post on the Alberg's bankruptcy.

Wasn't it originally Chapter 13, now is it a complete liquidation to Chapter 7???

Doesn't that mean the creditor's get nothing?

What about the citizens of Medford who paid into access TV - where Alberg was and still is on the board of directors?

Chapter 7 bankruptcy is a liquidation proceeding in which the debtor's non-exempt assets, if any, are sold by the Chapter 7 trustee and the proceeds distributed to creditors according to the priorities established in the Code.

A chapter 13 bankruptcy is also called a wage earner's plan. It enables individuals with regular income to develop a plan to repay all or part of their debts. Under this chapter, debtors propose a repayment plan to make installments to creditors over three to five years.

Does this mean Alberg was originally going to pay the debts and now he doesn't want to? 

This is the individual who DENIED access TV to residents and used it to promote his for-profit business.  And now he's completely bankrupt?

Morally as well as financially.

Where is our TV station and what happened to the monies?

That is the question we will ask Tuesday night at the city council.
