(You can almost hear a mayor say "WOW - check out his photo - he's as hot as the teacher that left Medford High about a year ago...but we digress... )

It just keeps getting worse for Plum High School in Allegheny County. The school is already beset by a teacher sexual abuse scandal that has seen three male educators charged and two cases of female students allegedly abused. But no one was prepared for the swift-moving events of this week.
As TribLive.com reports, an Allegheny County grand jury is investigating whether teachers at Plum High School abused as many as eight female students over as many as eight years and that school officials kept it quiet.
The website cites a sealed search warrant executed Tuesday in reporting the new and devastating allegations.

PLUM, Pa. —

A Plum High School teacher has been ordered by a judge to stand trial on witness intimidation charges.
Joseph Ruggieri, 40, is accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.
He was arrested last month for violating a court order after authorities said he contacted the student via email in an attempt to convince her not to testify.
