Robert A. Maiocco's Campaign Promises

In 2011, Robert A. Maiocco claimed to be 63.

You think the S.O.B. ever disclosed to council colleagues the unflattering complaints against Maiocco as a FINANCIAL ADVISER?

Here's his one-sided political statement praising himself.

Previous Elected Experience: Medford City Council, 14 terms; council president, 13 1-year terms

Top Priority if Elected:
Protection of neighborhoods is a priority for me. I have been alert and dedicated to stopping and preventing undesirable intrusions into our neighborhoods. I will continue to use every avenue available to me to protect all sections of our city. Working together, we will not only preserve the character of our community but make it an ever better place for all of us.
Another priority for me is to utilize my professional financial experience and insist the city be prudent in spending tax dollars. Homeowners and condominium owners must be assessed fairly and the tax rate must be an honest one.

Honesty and Robert A. Maiocco are terms which are definitely in conflict with each other

MAIOCCO FAILED TO PROTECT THE RESIDENTS FROM THE MCGLYNN MACHINE AT RIVER'S EDGE:

Wednesday's ceremony comes on the heels of a flare-up last week in the Medford City Council, when Councilor Robert Maiocco accused Stephen Wishoski, head of the Malden Redevelopment Authority, of hiding a pending lawsuit against the group overseeing River's Edge when Wishoski asked the Council for a $1 million loan to help fund the project in April 2008.

(GEE...THE REST OF US KNEW ABOUT THE LITIGATION, BUT CLUELESS MAIOCCO WAS GRANDSTANDING TO ALLEGEDLY PROTECT HIS PAL ON THE MVDC...PERHAPS...)

Wishoski denied the charge. He attended Wednesday's ceremony, while Maiocco did not.
Maiocco, an advisor with Wells Fargo, said in an email that the event conflicted with an exam he had to take to maintain his securities license.

(SO MAIOCCO WAS DERELICT IN HIS DUTIES WHEN HE COULD HAVE HAD THE EXAM AT ANOTHER TIME...JOKE AND DIRTY RAT THAT HE IS.)
