Class Action Suit against Muccini-Burke and Medford City Hall

MAKE MEDFORD GREAT AGAIN.

It is time for a Class Action Suit against Stephanie Muccini Burke and Medford City Hall

An Editorial by Joe Viglione

Citizens of Medford are up in arms about 61 Locust St., and for good reason. The key word that the major press is not using in regards to this purported "mayor" is "EMBATTLED" Mayor Stephanie Muccini Burke and Embattled School Superintendent Roy E. Belson.

The past six months and six days of the embattled Administration mirror a mayor losing her critical staff members, and a petition or two rife with outrage on the secretive Belson from parents who are disgusted that a majority of the spineless school committee caved in to secretary Van der Kloot and her nonsense backing the indefensible Belson.
Now is the time for all the residents who believe in the opponent of Stephanie Burke in the past 2015 election to sign on to a Class Action suit. Now is the time for a recall vote. Find a way to see if Ed Finn's censorship tactics can impeach the city clerk. Install a new city clerk who won't cower in fear when the mention of a recall vote is brought up.

We have no public access TV, we have no media in this city, we have no civil rights. It is a pure dictatorship with questionable policies from a questionable police chief who throws his own officers and building under the bus, purportedly for political capital with the mayor WRKO called a "charlatan."

What's historic is how quickly Nell Escobar Coakley is putting the knives in Muccini-Burke's back. Escobar Coakley is your garden variety streetwalker when it comes to City Hall. Coakley has prostituted the newspaper to curry favor with the past Administration including allegedly drinking Mike McGlynn's Kool-Aid to back Muccini-Burke.
Muccini-Burke got better placement than Penta in the Transcript week after week. I brought this up to the immature and woefully unqualified Alex Ruppenthal who, like Nick Iovino before him, is more like Nell's male hooker than a real reporter with a mind of his own. They are bought and sold and the readers and advertisers suffer for their careless approach to the news.

Now Escobar Coakley is sharpening her claws at Muccini-Burke knowing she's been sold a bill of goods from McGlynn. The problem is, all Stephanie has to do is dangle a few baubles in front of the alleged "editor" of the Transcript and all is forgiven. So enjoy this gem from poor-judgment Escobar Coakley and cherish the back-stabbing by the editor on Mayor Burke while you can:

TRANSCRIPT EDITORIAL
Is it a wonder residents are pushing back on what’s being touted as a “mini” Station Landing?

But looking at the Shaw’s site and Station Landing, there are vast differences. One example being the land area.
Station Landing sits on 16 acres, more than enough to handle apartments, retail, a garage and hotel. Meanwhile, 61 Locust St. is about 6.8 acres.

Bob Penta was obligated to we who supported him to demand a recount. The disappointment from his supporters was quite tangible. Six months later the guy that I voted to be our Mayor needs to understand that he cannot wait around for 61 Locust St. to be Stephanie Burke's "Waterloo." That which doesn't destroy her Administration will make her stronger. Sitting around while she is in the bully pulpit of the corner office with lots of contingency plans would be a fool's errand.

We need to strike now, while the lawsuits are sizzling around Stephanie Muccini-Burke.

Supporters of Stephanie's opponent must file a Class Action suit, your foot is on the throat of the infidel. Now is the time to bring Muccini-Burke in front of a judge and jury. Now is the time to stop her lunacy before she entrenches herself and damages Medford beyond repair. The damage she has already done is incalculable. Are you really that frightened, Medford, to be like Chief Sacco and cower in fear and just allow the nonsense from Muccini-Burke to fester out of control.

This is our city, dammit, not hers.

The time to litigate is now. Muccini-Burke's opponent needs to lead the charge. He owes it to us.

Waiting will only empower Muccini-Burke and, rest assured, she will get stronger and more angry. She's in the bully pulpit, she has a team and she has many options. Let those who have ears hear.
