RE: Thanksgiving Football game
Hello Rep Donato,
I understand that Malden Access Television videotaped the Thanksgiving football game between Medford and Malden.
Heidi Riccio at Medford High Vocational/Technical promised the city at a school committee meeting that we would have a new public access TV station in September. Mayor Burke corrected Riccio and said "September." I visited Superintendent Belson and Krissie Fraser at Medford High in November and Superintendent Belson told me the station would debut in Janiuary.
You and I have been discussing access TV for over a decade. Medford residents are concerned that both Mayor McGlynn and now Stephanie Muccini-Burke have dragged their feet - intentionally - on the opening of a Medford TV station. T hey do NOT like free speech, nor do they feel any obligation to the cable TV subscribers regarding the millions of dollars that we have paid into access via the franchise fee.

Both elections were sullied due to the media blackout this intentional negligence forced on paying consumers, residents who are overtaxed, charged for parking on roads that are broken, and an obvious fear by those in positions of authority to "buck the system."

Without my hard work and honest efforts to build an access TV station, that horribly vulgar 501c3 that ran TV 3 would still be in power, censoring residents, threatening residents, defaming residents.

Why did it take one citizen to get the ball rolling?

Why am I still the one voice keeping the issue alive? That is your job, Rep Donato, but you seem afraid to read Muccini-Burke the riot act.

You are a veteran of elected office, she is a novice when it comes to being a mayor. A fine city councilor like Mrs. Burke has turned into a disaster of a mayor. The Peter Principle has kicked in, Mrs. Burke has risen to the level of her own incompetence, and we still don't have an access station.
People tell me Mrs. Burke hardly shows up at work. If true, perhaps we should initiate a recall petition and have a recall vote. We do not have access TV. We can't watch the Thanksgiving game, unless Mr. Belson puts it on the high school channel. We can't discuss charter change, the current crop of city councilors and this mayor are allergic to charter review. You think they want charter change?

Please help the community you have an obligation to serve. You are derelict in your duties, Rep Donato, when it comes to access TV we would have had in January of 2016 had Muccini-Burke's opponent been given the opportunity that the LEGITIMATE voters desired. There was a lot of funny business during the last election, including Mrs. Burke's husband interfering in access TV on October 15, 2015 at the Chevalier. There you have it, solid evidence regarding Muccini-Burke not interested in access TV. Where is it, Mr. Donato?

As promised, I voted for you this past election.
