Roy E Belson Public Records Request

940,923 @ 10:04
99 @ 10:04 - 124 minutes

Roy E. Belson
Medford High School
489 Winthrop St
Medford, MA 02155

A "modified" public records request is enclosed in this e mail (not in the file attached, which I am submitting for a response)
Last time I put in a public records request about bomb sniffing dogs and alleged sexual predatory behavior at the high school false charges were filed

 I prevailed, of course,

Since my blog broke the story on Mayor Burke's chief of staff being ousted (Burke's own staff didn't know that their chief of staff was gone...yet I knew!!!,) and my videocamera removing Mayor McGlynn's "uncle Gene" McGillicuddy from Medford Housing (ostensibly leading to reprobate Bob Covelle getting ousted,) and of course my pièce de résistance - the removal of Medford Community Cablevision, inc. from threatening and suing local residents,  it appears that this journalist is batting 1000.

Please note, dozens of local and national press people are receiving this public records request.

A simple response at the school committee this evening would have been appropriate.

The Facebook Live of my speech tonight is doing quite well.  It is also now on YouTube

My God, asking where and how our money is being spent is like asking Vladmir Putin how his engagement to Donald Trump is going.

Please respond to my public records request.

PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST

March 20, 2017
Roy E. Belson, Superintendent
Or Keeper of the Records
Medford High School
489 Winthrop St
Medford, MA 02155
Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request

Dear Keeper of the Records:
This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:
1)The document(s) containing the salaries of the school committee
2)The document(s) showing the monies paid to Stephanie Muccini-Burke for her participation on the school committee as chairperson
3)The document(s) detailing the hard date for opening the access TV stations paid for by citizens.
For example, the March 26, 2016 school committee meeting had Heidi Riccio telling the public that the access station was set to open in September of 2016. This was a lie from the woman removed from the Lawrence school system after a press release was issued that she was “Educator of the year.” She wasn’t, it was an educator in Chelsea.   Mayor Burke, allegedly called a charlatan by WRKO host Jeff Kuhner, disagreed with Riccio saying the station would be open in October of 2016.  When I visited Superintendent Belson and new hire Krissy Fraser, Belson told Fraser that he had been accused of hiding sexual predators at the high school (???) and that the station would open in January of 2017.   The Transcript's December 7, 2016 issue, a few weeks after I spoke with Roy Belson, had the vague "completion in the spring."  Tonight, May 20, first day of spring, 2017, it's like a varsity coach has the tongue of the mayor, the superintendent and members of the school committee who were part of that committee June 30, 2015.   The silence was deafening.   This school committee uses "the voice of silence" when citizens come up to the podium?   It's not fair (Rachel Maddow 9:52 pm says on MSNBC "is that fair?" the exact moment I'm writing this, wow!)  Shakapifi (coincidence!) indeed!!!!    If Mrs. Burke cannot be forthright about expensive matters like this, she needs to resign.  We are paying her too much money for too little that is tangible.  Broken streets, pay to park, seniors paying $25.00 (if you are over 65) for pay to park when Burke ran on FREE PARKING for seniors, and now a Class Action suit on the horizon because of P/E/G issues.
A December 7 2016 Medford Transcript article gave a vague date of “spring” – 2018? 2019?  Joined by several Boston TV and radio personalities, city and school officials donned pink and blue hard hats for a group photo outside the future studio, which remains under construction and is scheduled for completion in the spring.

On the first day of spring, March 20, 2017 (Spring Equinox 2017 in Northern Hemisphere was at 6:28 AM ) I asked the entire school committee, the superintendent and the mayor when the station would open in my 3 minute speech.  The voice of silence was deafening.

Thus, this public records request to these paid “public servants” who refuse to – in public and on Facebook live, discuss something costing citizens millions and millions of dollars.

I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request.
The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.
Sincerely,
Joe Viglione
