Here's the quandary for Attorney Osborne.
He is named in an Open Meeting Law violation filed today.
Can Mr. Osborne fairly receive complaints on Finn, Caraviello, Knight and Dello Russo when there is a serious OML complaint naming him filed today as well?

Council Vice President Michael Marks
Room 207
Medford City Hall
85 Geo P. Hassett Drive
To Councilor Michael Marks:
Please be advised that I have filed a complaint at the office of Diversity and Inclusion on City Council President Rick Caraviello, Adam Knight and Frederick N. Dello Russo, Jr. for AGE DISCRIMINATION See Notarized PDF (attached) which was delivered to the office of Diversity and Inclusion today, along with a new complaint on City Clerk Edward P. Finn.
I was over at 8 Asburton Place today as well. I mean business.
We citizens will NOT tolerate alleged abuse of the Open Meeting Law by those three councilors in particular.
Next
week I am scheduled to speak at the Council on an important matter
regarding a violation of the Open Meeting Law by the Chapter 74 board,
as determined by the office of the Attorney General Maura Healey.
If past offenses reoccur I will file an immediate complaint to be sent to the AG's office in regards to Open Meetings
1)Mr.
Caraviello calling the police or filing false charges in criminal court
on an over-60 citizen who merely wants to speak and tape with Facebook
live at the city council
2)Mr.
Dello Russo banging doors, getting up and leaving while a citizen is
speaking, tearing up paper, falling asleep in his chair (or looking like
he is falling asleep in his chair) and fraudulent use of "Point of
Information" to throw a speaker off, not adding anything of substance to
the conversation, acting like a high school sophomore seeking
attention.
3)Adam
Knight getting up and leaving, talking too fast for people to
understand him, abuse of the "point of information" procedure, MAKING A
MOTION TO PUSH OTHER ITEMS ON THE AGENDA IN FRONT OF ITEMS / PETITIONS
FILED BY SENIOR CITIZENS, INTENTIONALLY, MALICIOUSLY, AND FREQUENTLY
KNIGHT,
DELLO RUSSO AND CARAVIELLO ADD NOTHING TO THIS CITY,. THEY ARE TAKERS
WHO VOTED FOR THEIR OWN PAY RAISES. THEY ARE NOT FAIR TO THE CITIZENS,
THEY ARE OBSTRUCTIONISTS SERVING THEMSELVES INSTEAD OF ACTING LIKE
PUBLIC SERVANTS.
4)Edward
P. Finn: Mr. Finn has a very bad habit of censoring petitions,
re-writing them, allegedly taking them out of context. IF Mr. Finn has
molested the current petition, as he has so many times in the past, I
will file an immediate OML violation.
I
would like to speak early next Tuesday, October 3, 2017 and not be
asked intimidating questions by a Mr. Knight or Dello Russo or
Caraviello. I expect them to sit there and pay attention to a topic of
great public interest and let ALL senior citizens - be their names
Penta, Storella, Castagnetti, Viglione, D'Antonio, etc. etc. etc. speak
without interruption, without procedural maneuvers which push their
petitions to the back of the bus, and will take this Age Discrimination
issue to the Mass Commission Against Discrimination and also ask about
the possibility of charging those four individuals referenced above (the
3 councilors and city clerk) with RETALIATION.
We
citizens have had enough of the malarkey, and a certain lawyer feigning
he is a kind and benevolent human being while enabling the censorship
tactics of three boorish, uncivil councilors who have done nothing of
substance to benefit the city of Medford.
It
would be refreshing if the city limited Adam Knight's absurd
"congratulations" which are a thinly veiled stunt for him to seek votes;
I submit that Mr. Knight is abusing the council seat as an election
tool and that is NOT what he is paid to do. It would be equally
refreshing if the city clerk could go through each and every council
agenda and note how many times Knight has congratulated someone as
opposed to how many motions and resolutions of substance Knight has
offered.
I
will be speaking on Tuesday, most likely taping FACEBOOK LIVE, and
demand the respect an established journalist of my age deserves.
I
am also requesting I sit at the journalist's desk at the council
meeting. I have the credentials having written for Wicked Local/The
Community Newspaper Company (now Gatehouse) for more years than many of
my colleagues at the same company who have utilized that seat.
Failure to allow me to sit at the journalist's desk will be viewed as blatant discrimination aimed at one person.
The
citizens of Medford have had it with the buffoonery. It is time for
the people taking over 30k of our monies to start behaving and start
serving the public. Or they can resign.
Sincerely,
Joe Viglione

ourselves and for our children" Judge Marie O. Jackson-Thompson (retired)
City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley / Medford Daily Mercury on or about Nov. 16, 2008 (quoted from the 2nd Judge Jackson-Thompson hearing) saying:
“The
one sentiment that I have heard that I take great exception to is that
the city is trying to limit speech,” said Rumley. “The notion the city
would censor or squelch free speech is baseless and as city solicitor I
would find any such effort repugnant.”
On
Sept. 2, 2016 Medford Solicitor Rumley was removed from a witness stand
by a judge for testimony deemed "irrelevant." On September 28, 2017,
Rumley admitted that he put the demand for a CORI check into the public
access producer agreement. The victim in the 2016 case told Rumley to
his face on 9/28/17 that Rumley's CORI demand was in direct conflict
with the above statement to the retired judge that the city would
squelch free speech.
The solicitor - enraged with livid eyes that were
infuriated - has a lot of hot air but no respect for the citizens
paying his enormous, bloated salary. This is NOT a man who cares about
the citizens of Medford or their civil rights.
