Dear Ms. Coop and Forestry Program:
Please
help us save a magnificent tree on 58 Paris St. Medford. Pave a new
sidewalk around it, make accommodations and do NOT let them chop it down
six months from now. The street has no real shade otherwise.

Last
year I saved the tallest tree on Garfield Ave in Medford. It was
illegally, wrongfully being chopped down until I told the outside
company that I was going to report them to the city council. They called
Tree Warden Aggie Tuden who came to the rescue and stopped the
destruction of arguably the most beautiful and definitely the tallest
tree on Garfield Ave. Shade Tree Law.
On September 13, 2017 I attended and videotaped a hearing on the third floor of Medford CIty Hall
that
a resident or residents at 58 Paris St., diagonal from my home, want to
chop down the most magnificent tree on Paris Street, which would
simultaneously remove the most shade that the street receives.

This is insanity. In an election year. This tree needs to be preserved.

What
needs to be done with Paris Street is that it needs to be PAVED.
National Grid chopped it up, as National Grid did with Garfield Ave, but
never put it back into "pristine condition" which City Councilor Fred
Dello Russo Jr. stated at a council meeting that the energy provider was
required to do. Of course Mr. Dello Russo didn't do a damn thing about
it, he just acknowledged it for the 30k to 32k a year he takes from
citizens (Medford pays more to a toothless city council under Plan A
Government than most cities and towns pay "elected" alleged "leaders.")
So
rather than fix the water and sewer with the 8 or 9 million or so city
hall has in the account, they choose to destroy a tree and further harm
life on Paris Street. The broken street looks like a third world
country, without the tree it will look like the Sahara.
Look at this absurdity on the Tree City USA site, with Medford having allegedly 19 awards
Medford | 19 | 57,964 who is giving Tree City USA this info???? I am calling them tomorrow to read them the riot act https://www.arborday.org/programs/treecityusa/directory.cfm |
Chris
Tuden, purportedly a Medford High School teacher and son of the tree
warden needs to speak up about his mother's decision to chop down the
tree. Residents should consider their vote for Chris Tuden on what
influence he has on saving this magnificent tree.
A woman objected at the hearing while I am the only resident to write a letter to the mayor - people in Medford are afraid of the vicious retaliation they face if they speak up* (see below).

Please
help us save the life of this magnificent tree. That a Mayor would
MURDER a tree during an election cycle only shows Muccini-Burke's
arrogance.
Please help.
thank you.

RE: How vicious and malicious elected officials are in Medford, and why people are afraid of signing
their names on documents:
*I
recently won in a court of law when the fraudulent City Council
President Richard F. Caraviello lied to the police, allegedly lied under
oath in court (about moonlighting at the city council; he said he
didn't - under oath - when he told me that he did when he skipped out on
an important vote at the council) and then lost to me in CRIMINAL COURT
after he was asked "Are you one of the TOP SOB's in Medford? Mr.
Caraviello replied that he is "on the list" in court 1/31/17, while at
the Medford City Hall prior to a council meeting that he was the
"biggest S.O.B" (March 28th) ....these are the individuals who do
NOTHING for the citizens of Medford and our trees. (individuals who
would make fictional character Tony Soprano blush with envy)
Rep Donato clearly notes that free speech is THE MOST PROTECTED RIGHT.
