This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law
(M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a
copy of the following records:
2)All
correspondence between Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. and the
Department of Public Charities on the status of the 501c3 that was
funded with public monies via the franchise fee cable TV subscribers pay
to cable providers
3)Any documents providing determinations and findings by the AG's office in regards to Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.
4)All communications between Medford City Hall and the Office of Attorney General regarding Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.
5)Any
memos, e mails and documents regarding the filings against Lynn
Community Access and Media which may contain information on a similar
allegation against Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., Lynn Access
and Media is a case which appears to have been investigated after the
investigation into Medford Community Cablevision, Inc, and which had a
determination while Medford residents are still wondering why it is
taking so long to give the cable TV subscribers the facts on Medford
Comm Cablevision TV3 and the allegations of at least 38 thousand dollars
not accounted for
6)On
9/19/17 the office of the Attorney General determined that the new
access TV board, operated by the city - the Radio/Television Access
Commission or some similar name (now known as the Chapter 74 board) had
violated the open meeting law. So the misconduct alleged by the board
of Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. allegedly continues under Mayor
Stephanie Muccini-Burke, City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley (whose new
censorship technique is to demand a CORI of anyone wanting to join the
station,) and School Superintendent Roy E. Belson.
I
spoke at the City Council on 10/3/17 and the defensive posture of the
City Solicitor and the School Superintendent was preposterous. One
Hundred Percent of the monies designated for Public Access TV appear to
be going to teacher's salaries, the general fund and the Educational and
Governmental channel. Citizens didn't even get to hear candidates
prior to the September 12, 2017 primary, a denial of free speech. Free
speech which State Rep Paul Donato calls "the most protected right."
So
why is the AG's office stalling on Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.,
a corporation with close ties to Michael J. McGlynn who, after having
spent $3900.00 on a retired judge and approximately Ten Thousand Dollars
on an audit, met with the principles of MCC TV3 at Regina Pizza and
Bocelli's taking NO NOTES of the OPEN MEETING AT TWO POPULAR RESTAURANTS
and no information that the TAXPAYERS paid 14,000.00 or so for, as well
as the 38 thousand dollars (and possibly more) that can't be accounted
for
This
is outrageous, and the AG's office has not been forthright with the
cable TV subscribers who have waited too long for access television that
they pay for but still don't have.
The
City Solicitor threw the hot potato to the Attorney General's office
and now the citizens have nothing but rhetoric and bizarre statements
from the city solicitor regarding his censorship policies. He will
cringe at that and get all defiant but trust this reporter, Mark E.
Rumley, the Medford City Solicitor, has done everything in his power to
create stumbling blocks to free speech and the First Amendment while
shouting from the rooftops that he and the city do not censor. As
preposterous as the late actress Barbara Hale going on national TV to
proclaim that Raymond Burr "IS NOT GAY" when Mr. Burr's lover/boyfriend
of all those years still runs their winery

Medford
does censor and Raymond Burr was a homosexual, no matter what
self-crafted fiction the Solicitor, Mr. Rumley, concocts today because
it is Tuesday.
Please
help us. The Division of Public Charities is NOT being fair to the
citizens of Medford. Please give us answers, not Rumley Rhetoric.

AG’s Office Sues Directors of Lynn Community Access and Media for Misappropriation of Charitable Funds
AG’s Action Seeks to Recover Misappropriated Funds for the Charity
BOSTON —
The current and former president of Lynn Community Access and Media,
Inc. (LynnCAM), along with two of their family members, have been sued
for misappropriating tens of thousands of dollars of the charity’s funds
for their own personal use, Attorney General Maura Healey announced
today. Two other board members have also been sued for failing to
exercise proper oversight of the charity’s operations.
