After the magazine was found in the school by a custodian, the custodian locked it in McGlynn Middle School Principal Jake Edwards’ office, though Edwards told Belson he did not see it and may have thrown it away while cleaning his office in late December. Belson first heard about it a week or two after it was placed in Edwards’ office, from the same custodian.
