Ship is dropping out of quantum drive.
A 13 button salute ends up in obliteration of a vessel showing that the Kaylons mean business, and are as fierce a foe as the Borg are to Star Trek the Next Generation.
The Orville is becoming Star Trek The Next Generation, which is a very good thing indeed.
