Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request

Dear Attorney Scanlon:

This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:

Any and all documents that Stephanie Muccini-Burke and/or Michael J. McGlynn and/or Mark E. Rumley may want to shred to keep from the public now that Muccini-Burke and - by extension - Mike McGlynn, have lost the election.

Word is that Mike McGlynn is on his way to city hall with a commercial grade paper shredder, allegedly.

These are public documents and should not be destroyed, if the allegation is true.

I will be contacting the authorities and alerting them to this allegation.

The Board of Bar Overseers and other agencies may also be contacted if I do not get documents that City Hall may be intentionally shredding, allegedly.

I am quite clear about the documents the citizens want.
I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request.
The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.
Sincerely,

Joe Viglione
