David Rodrigues New Chief of Staff for Medford City Hall - Rumley is Formally OUT


MEDFORD, MA — Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced the hiring of David Rodrigues as her Chief of Staff this week. Rodrigues previously served as the Assistant Town Manager of Winthrop and Assistant City Solicitor and Senior Advisor to the Mayor of Everett   https://patch.com/massachusetts/medford/lungo-koehn-administration-whos-new-whos-staying-city-hall
The staff at city hall will include Daria Shutova, who will serve as Executive Assistant and Office Manager for the mayor
Most department heads will continue in their roles, but the city will begin searching for three key staffers: City Solicitor, Director of Economic Development and Treasurer.
Solicitor Mark Rumley retired Jan. 3 after more than 30 years with the city. Kimberly Scanlon will serve as Acting City Solicitor until a permanent candidate is hired. Private Counsel will also be available during the interim period.
