Subject: Thank You, Adam Hurtubise

Adam Hurtubise
City Clerk
85 George P. Hassett Drive
Medford MA 02155

To Mr. Hurtubise

I want to thank you for being an honest, stand-up guy.  It is refreshing to have someone in the clerk's office who:

a)doesn't edit petitions to the Medford City Council as a previous clerk maliciously did to at least two senior citizens

b)respects the voters of Medford and doesn't tell his staff to REFUSE TO ACCEPT PETITIONS TO THE CITY COUNCIL while Mr. Finn was on vacation. So much for the oath of office. Shame on him and a city solicitor who, obviously, allowed such nonsense to go on in the United States of America.  How very un-American, of BOTH of them.  Acting like the old TV3.

That's no way to run city government.

c)who doesn't have boxes of trash sitting around the hallways (see enclosed photo)

---that particular pile of trash was there for months, even when hundreds of individuals came for the substance abuse vigil it was how business was done under the McGlynn and Burke administrations

---there was a dirty steak knife atop the boxes (in this day and age of metal detectors?  And with TV3 committing an act of violence
at city hall in 2010 @ the city council (front page news in the Medford Transcript.) A dirty steak knife that some individual could
have seriously hurt multiple people with.  On Ed Finn's watch. For months! until I spoke up about it.

---there was a box cutter on a window sill - video room side of Alden Chambers.  I informed the city council and Mr. Dello Russo  ordered it removed.  We thank Fred for doing the right thing.   But a box cutter and a steak knife and when I brought this to the attention of City Clerk Ed Finn he said to me "I handle (only) deaths and marriage certificates.  Give the whack to Judy Lonergan."

Outrageous.  Blame another senior citizen instead of doing his job (picture enclosed)
You have been very cordial to this long-time journalist even responding to questions on the weekend.

But what is most admirable is the 652 votes that put this terrific new mayor over the top.

1)The Firefighters backing Breanna Lungo-Koehn

2)My very popular blog (I am told) was key in persistently exposing the flaws of the Muccini-Burke administration.

3)That we had hope that the new city clerk would have clean hands in the election

People did not trust the previous city clerk, and for good reason.  After he committed a violent assault on my person 6/16/15 it was  then that I contacted the FBI and alerted them that the election of 2015  - Bob Penta vs. Muccini-Burke, would be stolen.

A colleague  running for the city council told me that Finn and his wife at Stop & Shop (now Target, Haines Sq.) told him that Muccini-Burke would "win."   Maybe Johnny Carson's fictional psychic, Carnac the Magnificent, could predict the winner, but a city clerk knowing with certainty who would be victorious!   The audacity admitting who would win in June when the city clerk is the referee of sorts!

...And Bob Penta was far more popular than Muccini-Burke, as evidenced by the applause at the two debates, as evidenced by signage, as evidenced by the response to Mr. Penta speaking to the community in the run up to election day.  There were cheers for Mr. Penta's signs and cars honking on election day in favor of Penta.  People were desperate for change.
Then the rumor, after Stephanie's alleged victory that 500 individuals allegedly were transported to the polling spaces, people who were not registered to vote, allegedly.  The individual allegedly bragging that he "stole" the election for Mrs. Burke was added to her transition team, then mysteriously fired after my news site ran with the story.  Interesting, wouldn't you say?   More rumors that you may or may not believe, but given the magnitude of the change Mr. Penta intended to bring, well, Google Stat Smith Everett to see the risk vs. the reward of allegedly hijacking an election.

It was worth the risk with the consequences of Mr. Penta getting into office and finding who knows what back in 2015.  In the school system.  At city hall itself.

There is more information about the 2015 election I cannot put into print as the informant asked me not to discuss it.  Let me just say that it is HIGHLY CREDIBLE and a stunt I had already wondered if the past two administrations would allegedly stoop to.  I am certain that the allegation is plausible and probably true.

After Mr. Finn maliciously attacked me verbally and physically he failed to show up, under subpoena, to criminal court.  Rick Caraviello's lies to the police, along with Mr. Finn's lies to the police about a hard-working citizen, and yesterday's news articles about Marian Ryan finding a quarter of our police force to be placed on the "Brady list" for being untrustworthy, the math is easy to do.

Thanks to a new city clerk the former regime, the McGlynn regime with his surrogate, Stephanie Muccini-Burke, couldn't (allegedly) hijack the election of 2019.    The firemen, a popular news site, an honest city clerk, all brought about change.

How refreshing.

Just wanted to give you a public thank you for doing your job and doing it well.

You are a gentleman

Respectfully,

Joe Viglione
