Zac Bears Pounding the Table on Tuesday night. It might seem that some people are beating up on newcomers Nicole Morell and Isaac "Zac" Bears - but that would be inaccurate. The problem is that I personally do not believe that they are qualified for the job with little or no government experience that I can see. KEEP IN MIND _ when Paul A. Camuso was called in to room 207 to respond to my complaint about the Open Meeting Law when he was a novice council president, Camuso said "At least one thing good came out of this," meaning - that I did his job for him and pointed out the requirements of the council to be aware of the Open Meeting Law. So Mr. Bears kept thumping the table, and the microphone picked it up - loudly. In all seriousness Mr. Caraviello, Mr. Bears and Mr. Knight need some serious public speaking lessons AND elocution lessons. If you go for a job paying 30K a year you would need that. Being able to buffalo the public during an election is contrary to applying for work that has a job description and need for experience.
A Google search notes:
There's an old legal aphorism that goes, "If you have the facts on your side, pound the facts. If you have the law on your side, pound the law. If you have neither on your side, pound the table." Zac Bears pounded the table and it was annoying on the audio of the city council cablecast.
