VIRTUAL, DRIVE-BY HOLIDAY EVENTS PLANNED IN MEDFORD
Wave to Santa in a drive-by, and drop your wish list. Join us for a virtual lighting of the City Hall decorations on Medford Community Media.
MEDFORD – The City of Medford is preparing some 2020 holiday cheer! Join Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn on Friday, December 4, and Friday, December 11 for two unique holiday events this year:
Drive-By and Wave to Santa (December 4)
On Friday, December 4th
from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in front of City Hall, drive up to City Hall
(from the Ring Road entrance) and wave to Santa from your car. You can
also drop your wish list into our “wish bin” and we will send it back
with him to the North Pole!
Virtual Decoration Lighting (December 11)
Tune
into Medford Community Media (Comcast Channel 3 / Verizon Channel 47)
on Friday, December 11 at 7:00 p.m. for the lighting of the City Hall
holiday decorations. Medford Community Media is compiling a video
celebration that will be aired on December 11 and will be played
frequently through the end of the year. Note: City Hall decorations
will be lit as of December 4, but a special and formal presentation
video will air for the first time on December 11.
“We
are finding any way we can to lift peoples’ spirits this year,
especially at the holidays. While we cannot have our traditional, large
holiday gatherings, I hope that these fun gestures can bring some
holiday spirit and fun to kick off the season!” said Mayor Lungo-Koehn.
Medford city services are available to all residents, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, language ability, economic situation, or immigration status.
