Hello fellow Medfordites (Medfordians?),
You won't see Medford Girl Scout cookie booths in front of the Post Office, in Medford Square, or at Stop & Shop this December because, at least for now, the cookie sale is all online. To support each other, Medford's troops are collaborating to take turns featuring a different troop's Virtual Cookie Booth on their website. To place an order for cookies that will be shipped directly from the bakery to you, go to: https://medfordgirlscouts.org/featured-medford-girl-scout-virtual-cookie-booth/. There will always be a troop with a link ready to take your order.
This year's new cookie is called Toast-Yay! (they taste like french toast with maple syrup) but the all-time best seller is Thin Mints, followed by Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Patties. This is the last year for the S'Mores, in case you want to stock up.
Customers who want to support Girl Scouts but don't actually want the cookies can select "Cookie Share" and place an order for cookies that will be distributed to food pantries and essential workers in Eastern Massachusetts.
Shipping is subsidized if you buy 6 packages or more. Here are the rates:
- 1- 5 packages = $12 shipping
- 6 - 12 packages = $6 shipping
- 13 - 17 packages = $18 shipping
- 18 - 24 packages = $12 shipping
Every order will bring you delicious cookies and pride in supporting girls who are leaders that work to make the world, and Medford, a better place!
Thanks for supporting Medford Girl Scouts and have a yummy holiday,
Rebecca
