Sometime in 2013 I personally led the effort to remove Medford Community Cablevision, Inc after a retired judge hired by Medford City Hall ruled that they were operating a "private" MCC access. It was my hard work and honest effort for the community that removed individuals who abused the franchise fees taken from the cable TV subscribers to benefit the public. I was also the only person to respond to then Mayor McGlynn's "request for proposals." The proposal was for Community Media Medford, a business filed at Medford City Hall. Former Mayor McGlynn, who loathes public access television, and the former city solicitor, Mark E. Rumley, conspired against the public refusing to take the advice of McGlynn's own access tribunal and putting a station at the high school. For decades city hall has taken about sixty percent of the monies for their "general fund," about twenty percent of the monies for three high school salaries, and about twenty percent for all of the P/E/G Public, Educational, Governmental access. However, that is deceiving as it is not a private non-profit operating the station but a city-controlled access facility.
