DISGRACED EX CHIEF LEO SACCO DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON AT THE HOMES OF 'HIS' OFFICERS.
LEO, DESCRIBED BY ONE OF HIS ALLEGED GIRLFRIENDS AS 'TREATING ALL THE OFFICERS AS FAMILY' DIDN'T DO SO WELL WHEN THE DRUG KINGPIN OF STONEHAM USED A MEDFORD OFFICER'S HOME TO DEAL IN STONEHAM!
THE RESULT OF IRRESPONSIBLE
LEO A SACCO, JR. AND HIS DERELICTION OF DUTY AND MULTIPLE OATH VIOLATIONS.
Investigators allege Lopez's 28-year-old stepson had arranged to sell drugs to 24-year-old Jessie Williams, of Medford, and 19-year-old Eugene Tate, of Malden, at the home through "known associates." They claim the men drew handguns, demanding cash and money after entering. Both the 28-year-old and his friend, Joseph Puopolo, were shot. Puopolo, 27, died as a result of his injuries. The 28-year-old man survived a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
