Library seeking submissions for the “Mystic River” theme.

Artwork will be displayed from September/October through December, the first art installation in the brand new building this fall.

Calling all local artists!

The Charlotte and William Bloomberg Medford Public Library is looking for submissions for the first art show to be exhibited in the brand new building this fall. We are looking for wall mounted works inspired by or depicting the Mystic River, the show’s theme. Oils, watercolor, textile art, photographs or any other medium are welcome.

Selected submissions will be hung in late September/early October 2021 and will remain up through the end of the December 2021.

Submission should include: images of the work, dimensions and description of the piece, and artist name/address/phone/email. Selections will be made in July. 

Medford city services are available to all residents, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, language ability, economic situation, or immigration status.
