Bullies hate being laughed at and former President Donald Trump is no exception. While we've all seen his public rants against the comedians who've taken jabs at him, earlier this week the Daily Beast reported that Trump tried to sic the Department of Justice on "Saturday Night Live." That's the behavior of literal dictators, Dean Obeidallah writes.
"Trump,
like all dictators (or in his case, a wannabe dictator), hates being
mocked," Obeidallah writes. "'Strongmen' leaders like Trump want and
need to be feared to stay in power. The last thing they want is people
laughing at them."
