The agenda for Monday’s meeting laid out two very specific items: “Discussion regarding the allegations involving the Vice Chairman” and “recommendation for actions to be taken,” according to the weekend memo sent to the 21-member executive committee by MassGOP Operations Director Madeleine Cammarano.
Chairman Jim Lyons confirmed the memo, saying he called for the
executive committee meeting after receiving “numerous calls from members
of the state committee asking me to look into and investigate
allegations … from recent articles that have shown up on a blog
indicating he has been involved in very bizarre, disgusting and very
