DAVID DISCUSSES CONCERNS WITH RESIDENTS IN 2021
HIS VISION FOR MEDFORD
As the COVID-19 pandemic swept across the nation, David sought solace where he had always found it before – his hometown of Medford, Massachusetts. He regularly tuned into the weekly City Council meetings, and while he understood the challenges our city faces today, he was disheartened by what he saw. He realized that cities surrounding Medford – such as Malden, Melrose, Somerville, and Arlington – are advancing rapidly, embracing their environments while moving their municipalities forward. Medford, on the other hand, is falling behind when it comes to serving our own community.
Meet David
David promptly identified specific issues that can be addressed by the City Council and made an agenda for his vision of Medford’s future. Now, David is focused on repaving the streets of Medford, providing resources from the city directly to its citizens, and revitalizing Medford Square into a thriving downtown area replete with successful local businesses. After a lifetime of preparation, David is excited to get to work and help move the City of Medford forward.
