Paul Ruseau should call Bears out for not defending him when a former council candidate, Andrew Castagnetti, slurred Ruseau.  But he won't because they need each other's support for the upcoming election.   How shameful.

 BEARS SUPPORT FOR THE GAY COMMUNITY IS SELF-SERVING AND VERY, VERY WRONG.

Now Zac Bears is taking a page out of the playbook of Donald J. Trump....just keep saying it, even if it isn't true, and a majority of people will believe it.

First, calling a community LGBTQ is not fair to the lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender and queer population.   It truly shows our minority status is real.   You don't see other minorities lumped together so conveniently.   Only those outside the world of homosexuality are enamored of putting gay women and gay men together in such an economic way. 

In other words, no one asked my permission.  Did they consult you?  Of course not. These terms, these marks, these identities are forced on people. 

 

It is as wrong as the bigotry that is the reason that this is an important discussion.

"They" don't know our world, nor do they care to understand it.

Bears can go out there marching in front of the New England Baptist Church, easiest target in Medford if you're looking for bigotry, but Bears marching only helps his election chances, not the "community," as combined as it is.

So selfish Zac Bears is using our community in a manipulative and boorish way.

Ya think Zac Bears has read Masters and Johnson or Kinsey?

 i CAN say that I support Martian rights, even though I have never met any.  Anyone can SAY that they support one group or another, yet these individuals don't ever seem to acknowledge that we are all of the same race, the human race.

You can't get into trouble supporting fellow humans.  I didn't come into this world to be categorized and marked with some identity other than being human and spiritual.   The mind and the body.   What is the word "gay" other than part of a theme song to the show the Flintstones.  Have a gay, old time.

 According to my best friend, a source I trust more than Wikipedia, he told me that "gay parties" started being advertised in New York papers, in the classifieds.  IT was a code for homosexual parties. The word caught on.   None of us went around saying "hey, let's make "gay" the favored word of the guy likes guy world.

The big moment for Bears was when Castagnetti showed his bigotry and called the Vice Chair of the Medford School Committee "Ms. Ruseau."  That's when Bears should have POUNCED and said "We will not tolerate that; Mr. Ruseau is my friend and colleague and you have smeared him publicly."

But Bears is more calculating and ruthless. He will shout from the rafters that residents deny racism, with absolutely no proof.   

However when Exhibit A is for bigoted Andy ....right there and it is staring Mr. Bears in the face, Zac runs and hides.  

Actions speak louder than words.   

 

The silence from Zac Bears was DEAFENING when Ruseau got slurred...perhaps because Bears is a closet Trump supporter?  Who knows....maybe Zac wants the Republican AND Democrat votes, so for once he shut his damn mouth...and it was at the wrong time.
