THE PROBLEM WITH PETRELLA'S MISFIRE WAS LESS THE HATE SPEECH AT NEW ENGLAND BAPTIST CHURCH AND MORE THE TRUMP-STYLED RHETORIC
PETRELLA MADE A STATEMENT ENDORSING A HATE GROUP IN MEDFORD, AND IT WAS LESS HIS ENDORSEMENT AND MORE ABOUT THE AUDACITY TO MAKE FAKE 'FACTS' UP LIKE TRUMP AND TRY TO FORCE IT DOWN EVERYONE'S THROATS.
PETRELLA PROVED TO BE MISGUIDED AND DISHONEST DOING THAT. AREN'T THERE ENOUGH DISHONEST POLITICIANS IN THE CITY OF MEDFORD? SEE YA, JOHN! DO LET THE DOOR HIT YOU ON THE WAY OUT.
to SR: Yes, Brady-Doherty is behind Petrella and at odds with our mutual friend Maury Carroll over it. Maury is in Breanna's corner. I spoke with one of Petrella's supporters today who wasn't happy with the erroneous statement on "all major churches." It's like saying "all major search engines" without backing it up with proof... If I said "All major record companies hate Donny Osmond" where is the proof?
Candidates need facts and figures, public records requests, get the data from City Hall. Don't give me rhetoric John, Patricia and Co.
To Karen:
Using a "church" that has spewed hate, was on Police Chief Leo Sacco's radar, who came stomping into TV3 in 2002 with a Bible and yelling at a gay person, allegedly kidnapped a woman (she wrote an essay on the internet, sent me MANY e mails about what she alleges that they did, I believe her,) is hardly "moral."
With Donald Trump facing criminal charges, and some candidates loyal to an individual who did so much damage to our nation and our democracy, Mr. Petrella's allegiance to Trump is a huge red flag.
Karen, please just look at the error in Mr. Petrella's statement that ALL MAJOR CHURCHES were with the hate mongers at the NEBC (New England Baptist Church) They aren't. For John Petrella to just make things up (forget the hate speech, forget his antics to go after Falco and Breanna, just how he made it up with no documentation) I wouldn't vote for him just on the basis that he did a "Trump" and made up fictional facts. He didn't substantiate it. Just a rant for publicity on his campaign page. That's not leadership, that's rhetoric, and it is dangerous.
