New post on The City of Medford, MA Upcoming Night Work on Mystic Ave./Main St. by Jackie Piques As part of Eversource's ongoing Mystic to Woburn Line Project, beginning on Monday evening, September 13th, Eversource crews will be working on portions of Main St. and Mystic Ave. between Emerson St. and Union St.  This trench excavation work will be performed at night and will continue into November. Work will occur during overnight hours on weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 pm - 5:00 am.  The project activity is being performed at night due to traffic volumes as well as to ensure the safety of work crews and residents.  At times, lane restrictions will be necessary for this work.  Signage and police detail officers will be in place to assist motorists.
