Medford’s “Harvest Your Energy Festival” Returns for 2021, Scheduled for October 16th at Riverbend Park

Festival will include activities, entertainment, information about sustainable practices, and more.

MEDFORD – The City of Medford’s annual Harvest Your Energy Festival is returning for 2021! After an adjusted walkthrough event was hosted in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Festival will return in its entirety on Saturday, October 16th from noon to 3pm at Riverbend Park. The Harvest Your Energy Festival is a fun, sustainable event with entertainment, children’s activities provided by Knucklebones and sponsored by the Medford Family Network, live music by Matt Heaton & band, raffle prizes, a visit to “Windy” the wind turbine, electronics, textile, and plastic film recycling, and information tables sponsored by local businesses and organizations from the Medford area.

The Harvest Your Energy Festival is also a great opportunity to talk directly to municipal staff and consultants and provide feedback on many projects and plans, including:

  • Medford’s Comprehensive Plan
  • Medford’s Climate Action & Adaptation Plan
  • Carr Park re-design
  • Municipal Energy Aggregation.
  • See inside the wind turbine

In case of rain, the event will be held inside the McGlynn School.

For a full list of sponsors, exhibitors, accepted items for recycling, raffle prizes, and a list of exhibitors, check out our website: https://medfordenergy.org/gogreen/harvest-your-energy-festival

Medford city services are available to all residents, regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, language ability, economic situation, or immigration status.   And if you believe that Jackie has a bridge to sell you.
