The debate, sponsored by the Medford Chamber of Commerce, will be broadcast live on TV (Comcast 3/Verizon 47) and live-streamed at on the city’s television station: medfordtv.org. The head-to-head will also be recorded and available for subsequent viewing on the city’s television station website.
On Oct. 13, doors open at 6:30 p.m., and masks are mandatory.
The panel of questioners have been selected: Dan Kennedy, a journalism professor at Northeastern University and GBH contributor, serves as the panel chairman. Boston Globe reporter Mark Shanahan, Anne Marie Gallagher of the Medford Historical Society and Astride Lisenby of the West Medford Community Center, are the remaining panelists. Boston News 25 anchor Kerry Kavanaugh will serve as moderator of the debate.
Kennedy said the group has been meeting to discuss the issues and craft a list of questions that each candidate can address.
