Malden and Perry Mason

Malden and Perry Mason: An Adrian Gendot* is credited with writing this, but METV has it on 11:53 pm Apr 4 2022 and claims Earle Stanley Gardner wrote this episode. Why am I bringing it up? The old woman (I think played by Mary Young) moved to a number of homes after the passing of her husband, and she mentions "Dell Street." That's the tip that Earle Stanley Gardner wrote this episode. He used Dell Street from Malden to create "Della Street" ...and it slips into the script. Also interesting is, like Law and Order: SVU (which I believe totally copied the Perry Mason formula) would have people play as a "guest star" and then turn them into cast members. Wesley Lau (Twilight Zone, bodyguard for the king) is in this episode as Amory Fallon (Perry's client.) Season 5, Episode 2 would later become a police detective or other police employee:

Amory Fallon returns after a long business trip to Mexico to find one of his plants burned and with a very suspicious mind. He doesn't go home and seems to trust no one. When his partner is found murdered, he is charged with the murder. Lee Miller...Police Sgt. Brice (uncredited)
