Peabody police officer arrested, held without bail, accused of entering breaking into home A Peabody police officer has been arrested on felony charges that he broke into a home and placed a person in fear.
Peabody Police arrested one of their own, Officer James Festa, when they responded to a 911 call at a home on an undisclosed street. The caller told police Festa had broken in and refused to leave.
The Police Department placed Festa, a 13-year member of the force, on administrative leave with pay.
