Massachusetts drownings: 28-year-old man pulled from Medford pond will not regain consciousness
‘We can not stress enough for people to use designated beach and swim areas when swimming in ponds and lakes’ A 28-year-old man who was recovered from a Medford pond and rushed to the hospital on Sunday will not regain consciousness, according to police.
The Medford 911 Dispatch Center at around 11:15 a.m. received an emergency call from a person at Wright’s Pond.
“The caller was frantically screaming for help for a friend that was underwater and did not resurface,” Medford Police wrote about the drowning incident.
