MBTA OUT OF CONTROL: Orange Line will shut down for 30 days later this month.

 ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS IN THE 21st Century ...entire Orange Line will shut down for 30 days later this month. The McGlynn Family did a LOT of damage to the MBTA and it was very silent, quiet and look at the result. Fron Mr. Bernadette McGlynn (the late Jonathan R. Davis,) lobbyist Jack McGlynn and presumably his wife Diane, and rumors of Medford's former mayor and "a little property," somewhere near the MBTA, an allegation, mind you, but Davis was in full control and look where we are today

Just a couple weeks before the entire Orange Line will shut down for 30 days, another portion of the MBTA subway system is now closed to riders. The Green Line’s E branch closed Saturday, and will remain shut down until Aug. 21.  This 16-day full-access closure will allow workers to replace about 2,000 feet of track and install Green Line Train Protection System (GLTPS) equipment, according to the MBTA. Most of the work will take place between the Longwood Avenue and Brigham Circle stations.
