This journalist is most frustrated by the lack of concern Attorney General Maura Healey's office has shown for missing monies - not allegedly missing monies - missing funds the deficient Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. failed to account for.
The Division of Public Charities has repeatedly claimed "law enforcement" could be "impeded" by disclosing records that are now over nine years old. Isn't their a statute of limitations? What is your office hiding while AG Maura Healey is running for Governor?
Before I requst the documents two points are key here:
a)"The public has a recognized interest in knowing whether public servants are carrying out their duties
in a law abiding and efficient manner." Public Records Division, Secretary of State's Office
b) Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart said last Thursday that it was "very important" that the public have as "much information" as it can about the search at Trump's Florida residence. https://www.axios.com/2022/08/26/doj-document-trump-affidavit-mar-a-lago

The public interest is great. These are ratepayer funds that the equally negligent Medford Police Department failed to go after,
indeed, the behavior of the MPD under retired Police Chief Leo A. Sacco, Jr. was beyond horrific, as was the behavior of ex mayor
Michael J. McGlynn and his complicit city solicitor, Mark. E. Rumley.
Here are my document requests:
1)Any document that shows that the statute of limitations on the AG's office investigation into Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. has expired, even if it is a copy of the law that oversees the negligent and deceptive public charity also known as MCC TV3
2)All texts, inter-office memos, e mails of the Attorney General's office in regards to Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. and other documents that show the work product generated by any and all of the staff of the AG in regards to the board members and staff of
Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. including responses by city hall and the television station itself.
The public interest is great, this is money that cable tv ratepayers are forced to fork over for a free speech element and extension of the First Amendment that they never received from mayors McGlynn, Muccini-Burke and Lungo-Koehn. Free speech is anathema to these mayors as they want to fly under the radar, to the detriment of the public.
If the statute of limitations has expired, the ultra-lame excuse of Maura Healey that "law enforcement" could be impeded by individuals forced to exit because of charges of racism shines a very bad light on the candidate for governor, Maura Healey, and her conflicted predecessor, Martha Coakley. Ms. Coakley lives in Medford, I spoke to her personally about this case and she admitted to me in Haines' Sq (and most likely on Channel 5 as is alleged, our conversation was taped,) that she had "heard" about the bad TV station (my God, she lived in Medford and was AG? She MORE than knew about it.)
Allegedly covering for Mayor McGlynn is not the job of Ms. Coakley or the public charities division. After over a decade my patience has worn then, thus, I am naming names in this correspondence.
I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request, however, since I am a noted journalist quoted in the NY Times, Boston Globe and more books and online site than I can count, I respectfully request that you waive any fees is this is of great public interest in Medford, a city where there is no true news outlet that is credible save my writings and these type of FOIA requests. Quite literally, all that is left in Medford for alleged "news" is the Medford Patch which is a questionable news organization rife with cronyism and business practices that are less than stellar.
The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing. Please send via e mail. Thank You.
Sincerely and respectfully,
Joe Viglione
