MEDFORD, Mass. —
A Medford home was left heavily damaged by a two-alarm fire that broke out Monday morning in the Massachusetts city.
Fire officials said the fire at 129 Forest St., which is at the corner of Woodrow Avenue, started at about 6 a.m.
Flames could be seen shooting from the roof of the home at one point. Police asked people to avoid the area and closed multiple roads, including the stretch of Forest Street from Lawrence Road to Water Street.
Medford fire Chief Scott Graham said the fire started in the rear of the home and extended to the third floor. https://www.wcvb.com/article/2-alarm-fire-closes-streets-in-medford-massachusetts/41081059
