To the Boston Herald:

What Carr gets wrong is that Stacey Abrams and Beto O'Rourke took on tough tasks and opened the door for other Democratic candidates to get elected. 

 

They got out the vote.

Geoff Diehl scared people away.   Diehl kept posting in my political group on Facebook where we ridiculed him.  What was that all about?  (Real Medford Mass. Politics on Facebook, a response to the crazies at Medford Mass Politics, two separate groups.)

Antiquated Mr. Carr was fun for ten minutes.  The reason he is so good at slamming

Geoff Diehl is that he is the Geoff Diehl of the media.

Good luck Boston Herald.    Battenfield - Battenfool - Battenfeld, whatever  - Bats in the Belfry is more like it - so pathetic that when I see his name in the e mail's "subject" I quickly hit "delete."

Seriously, though, the Commonwealth needs a real opposition party, not a cult. But a cult is exactly what Lyons and Diehl have reduced the state’s once-proud Republican party to.

How hopeless was the Diehl campaign? Last week, he put out an invitation to his big weekend event in Worcester (which drew maybe 200 people, including exactly one elected official).
