Everyone involved in the Amirault case prosecution should have been disbarred, fired and/or gone to jail. More than one prosecutor used this case to jumpstart lucrative careers. Reilly, Harshbarger and especially Coakley belong in jail after they blindly backed the prosecution and ferociously blocked appeals and pardons so the DA's office wouldn't look bad for its misconduct throughout the tragic misadventure. Other similar cases with dubious evidence were brought by Janet Reno in Florida that made her career reputation as a tough prosecutor. Bad DAs who will commit any crime to get a conviction are as common as grains of sand on a beach. But let one say “we can do better than this” and the right wing noise machine goes into overdrive, leading to recalls, impeachment, and unfounded, silly comments on any story that Carrie’s the name Rachel Rollins etc.

Very convenient the the Globe doesn’t mention beans about the single worst protagonist in the Fells Acres horror show - Martha Coakley. Then again, the Globe are up and spit back all of her deceit and fraudulent prosecutions, the least you could is mirror Baker’s generosity and say sorry, but that would character and etihics.

What was done to the Amireaults is nothing short of a disgraceful tragedy. Everyone involved for the prosecution should hang their heads in shame. The stories were too unbelievable and far-fetched to have any credulity at all!

The only reason this huge miscarriage of justice happened was because a grown man was nicknamed "Tookey". Martha Coakley should have been disbarred and imprisoned for her role in this.

Eli Newberger is an evil man who orchestrated this as the head of "Child Protection Services " at Boston Children's Hospital. He eventually got booted out on his head when the Globe spotlighted the case where he tried to have twin boys removed from their parents. BCH and Newberger are pure evil.
