Medford mayor bids farewell to controversial chief-of-staff, who leaves to join aquarium

After almost two years as chief of staff for Medford Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn, David Rodrigues announced his departure effective Sept. 10 to start a new job with the New England Aquarium in Boston.
Rodrigues, who was recruited by Lungo-Koehn through the Collins Center for Public Management at UMass Boston, assumed his role as chief of staff and senior advisor to Lungo-Koehn immediately following her 2020 inauguration.
